Artist's statement:

I use my art as a tool to communicate emotions of hope & happiness despite the surrounding circumstances.

My inspiration is derived from the everyday experiences of the ordinary South Africans specifically the people in the townships.  Being it school uniformed children or just playful children in the dusty townships at times even the adults creating traffic in the streets as they run their daily errands. 

My work is characterized by bright colours as I try to see the brighter side of every situation  “Where there is light, there is life & where there is life, there  is inspiration and hope”.
